| 1269071 | 2012-04-10 05:57:00 | Hi Guys Has anyone seen this with Exchange / SBS2003 When I sent to a valid email address, I got the bounce back below. This happened once , yet Ive sent 6 other emails to that address within the hour (before & after) without issue & received at the other end. Nothing relevant in the server logs at either end . Exchange Message Tracking Center didnt show the bounced email, but all the other successful emails showed of course. Any ideas what could have caused this? Cheers The e-mail account does not exist at the organization this message was sent to. Check the e-mail address, or contact the recipient directly to find out the correct address. <mail.####.co.nz #5.1.1 smtp;550 5.1.1 <#####@######.co.nz>: Recipient address rejected: User unknown in local recipient table> |

As to what caused it to happen for just that occasion will be hard to track down. No one was busy working on the receiving Exchange server? Updating mailboxes or something? What's the performance of the receiving Exchange server like? Did it only happen to this one email address? |
