Hate to be picky, but I don't believe Firefox has ever yet exceeded IE in global browser usage, and in the last year it's also fallen behind Chrome into 3rd spot. |

If you go by version numbers (i.e. IE7 and IE8 are different browsers), a certain version of Firefox was number one (though I can't remember what version it was). |
