1268955 2012-04-08 23:06:00 Hi Guys

I've got something weird happening. I have a business with 3 sites. An office and 2x retail stores all connected together via vpn and all on a windows 2003 domain. Previously I had at all locations a Linksys AM300 ADSL modem with half bridging to a Linksys RVS4000 router that handled the VPN etc. At retail 1 the AM300 died and I eventually got a Draytek Vigor 120 to replace it. Ever since the Draytek was installed, PCs and Server at retail 1 have not been able to connect to the companyweb sharepoint intranet (Located at the Office), if I replace the Draytek with a Dynalink it seems to work ok, problem is the Dynalink is flaky and its connection using the IP Extension mode drops out all the time. The connection on the Draytek is very stable and everything else seems to work fine. I've checked and disabled antivirus and firewalls at both locations incase that was the problem but I still get the issue. Retail 2 which is still on the AM300 works fine with no issues so it must be the Draytek. Any thoughts??

Cheers

1268956 2012-04-09 01:01:00 Grab a firmware upgrade for the DV120, there was an issue with an older firmware version which didn't like some UDP packets. Ran into that same issue myself with OpenVPN as well as playing DotA2. The upgrade is pretty painless, firmware from the Draytek Australia website :) Chilling_Silence (9)
1268957 2012-04-09 03:27:00 Any particular modem code? I'm positive I've got the latest std one already installed (Vigor120+v3.2.4.4+annex+A_STD), but I will check just in case. Thanks! Webbnzl (8810)
1268958 2012-04-09 08:40:00 I'm not entirely sure to be honest, I don't have mine handy as I'm on VDSL2.

However, whoever you purchased it from should be able to liaise directly with SnapperNet on your behalf, they're the NZ distributor / wholesaler, and they'll know.
