1245062 2011-11-23 04:59:00 Why do you want these?

I doubt anything there is working... Not worth the postage...

1245063 2011-11-23 05:08:00 I reckon I could get some bits and pieces lying around in my house and fix them up and sell it for a profit. plus the DVD writer seems pretty useful... if its working Alexxx (16639)
1245064 2011-11-23 05:22:00 Crap like that I throw out - send away to recycle any way. Cost -- Maybe $30, wouldn't pay any more esp since they could all be dead. wainuitech (129)

Where do you send the stuff for recycling?

1245067 2011-11-23 05:47:00 The local recycling centre takes it in Nelson but they do charge for all electrical/electronic items, still cheaper than paying to tip it down the hole there though gary67 (56)

No.
I had entire PCs consisting of stuff like that, they all went in the bin - not worth it, too old, it's like playing around with old Morris 8 crs or something. Not old enough to be worth anything but too old to be of use.

I wouldn't touch anyhting less than a socket 775/AM2 now - and parts to go with it.

1245069 2011-11-23 07:13:00 Where do you send the stuff for recycling? Our local Dump has a big open sided container - you simply throw in what ever it is, monitors, Old PC's, TV's Stereos, anything electronic, then once its getting a bit full, the recycling trucks come and pick it up, and take it into town to places that specialise in the recycling.
I wouldn't touch anyhting less than a socket 775/AM2 now Ditto -- You should see out the back in my workshop ( well maybe not) :p plenty of spares that "may be used one day" I'll get around to dumping them soon ( said that before as well )
