| 1245015 | 2011-11-23 03:26:00 | After a break of several weeks, Just now received another call (Indian) advising me that I have downloaded a programme which is sending faulty information to the net. He advised that he would help me remove it from my computer!!! I've had this crap several times in the past year so told him that and that the police were monitoring my phone and were tracing these scam calls. "Click". so much for that !:clap |

I tell them up-front that I am not interested, then when they start talking again I ask them what part of "not interested" didn't they understand; and if they keep talking THEN I hang up. So far so good, that satisfies Mrs T :thumbs: Of course this policy does not apply if she is not home or is out of earshot. :D Cheers Billy 8-{) |

| 1245022 | 2011-11-24 19:22:00 | I had 4 of those calls last week, 2 on the same night! I used to abuse them and ask them how they can sleep at night after scamming old people and others. They usually hang up after that, now I just hang up without saying a word. What also works well is to say 'One moment please' and then just put the phone down on the table and carry on with whatever I'm doing. |
