Had a go with AskMe toooo. Gurus on here seem to know more. CX520's I think are the ones prone to exploding !!. Lurking. Lurking. |

Actually neither of them have wifi, one can support it with the extra wifi dongle. :D The EX500 doesn't have network capabilities at all as far as I can tell while the CX520 does have ethernet built in. The EX500 does have the 100Hz screen other than that I would say the CX520 is the better screen. |

| 1245035 | 2011-11-24 07:39:00 | Depends what model you have. My 40" Bravia is nearly 4 years old and going strong. Mine was not one of the models prone to blowing up. :) |

| 1245036 | 2011-11-24 07:53:00 | I sell them: EX500 is now an old model, however it is a 100Hz the CX520 is a 2011 entry level model and is 50Hz. Neither have wifi built in. You cannot connect to the net at all with a EX500 but you can with the CX520. IMHO the EX500 has the better picture, but it lacks internet connectivity and the benefits from it. However 100Hz is a big factor to consider, because motion blur is a picture killer |
