1269128 2012-04-10 09:12:00 I had an Logitech M950 which was a damn nice mouse, fitted in the hand well. Track pad on current laptop is good enough I don't need a mouse anymore.

Thanks Alex, how do I fit a track pad to my PC, then I will be like you?

1269129 2012-04-10 09:19:00 Got a logitech Marathon Mouse M705,moulds to your hand and was $75 over a year ago

Would buy again but I think it would be along time before I get another mouse as it is ideal

1269130 2012-04-10 09:35:00 I agree with Lawrence - I also have the M705, and as far as I'm concerned it's my perfect mouse.

The battery life is also *very* impressive - I got it around 15 months ago, and it's still going strong on the original AAs that came with it (non-rechargeable Duracell alkalines), despite heavy daily use.

1269131 2012-04-10 10:13:00 Buy one that's comfortable.

Seriously.

all the recommendations in the world don't count for much once you eliminate the junk.

Its like buying a pair of shoes, work out which style suits you best then try them for size.

1269132 2012-04-10 10:46:00 i know you dont want a gaming one but they are very ergonomic. Razer Death Adder is a great mouse. It doesnt have 70000 buttons on it like other gamice mice and comes in at around $60nz. Slankydudl (16687)
1269133 2012-04-10 19:01:00 It may sound a silly question, but in my drawer I have at least 6 mouses, all with faults, so thought here we go again, wonder how long this will last, hence the enquiry.

I think from the above suggestions I will pick one and have better luck.
