Having used the M1122 and a PCI DSL modem, and also Jetsteam 128 and full Jetstream, the router is a good solution, but the firewalling is problematic in using various programs, and multiplayer games. We have pinholed all ports without success, but when using a PCI Modem, all these issues disappear as we essentially have the same status as a 56k modem for these tasks. Is there a way to configure the Nokia M1122 to be firewall-free? This would allow issue-free connectivity without port issues, the ease of networking PC's to the internet, and we can then just use a software solution for firewall. Hoping to hgave my cake and eat it too! Regards TD |
