I have redhat Linux 7 installed and it can't detect my internal modem. I know Linux can be fussy about modems but am not sure whether I should get an external modem or if there is some hope with the modem I have in at the moment. Currently there is a Rockwell 56k ACF data/fax/voice ISA modem installed - can anyone tell me how to get this going with Linux? I have already tried quite a few config scripts but none have seemed to help - any suggestions much appreciated as I don't really wanna get an external modem.... |
