Well, i gotta say thanks to all of you out their that suggested TweakUI. This little program has cured my pc of all the little problems in life, except....its now created another little annoyance! Can anyone tell me how to get rid of the annoying log on/password screen that comes up on bootup, as i dont want it. Im the only one that uses my pc and already have my BIOS set up to ask for a password to get in (far safer than the silly microsoft 'password' query). Anyway, im not set up for multiple users etc, and this has only come up since i installed TweakUI. Ive got it to log on automatically, but still makes it that little bit slower to boot up (if your like me and like your pc to boot up as quick as possible). Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, and happy new year et al! |
