| 7884 | 2001-01-05 22:06:00 | When running Win98 on a AMD K6-II 500Mhz and shutting down I get the message: 'Windows protection error. You must restart your computer. Press any key to continue.' When I press a key, the computer shuts finishes shutting itself down and turns itself off, as it should have. Windows 98 was installed fairly recently, and it has always done this. It only shows this message when shutting down, not rebooting or anything else. |
