| 7887 | 2001-01-05 00:38:00 | I read with interest George Campbell's item on Em & En spaces in the Dec/Jan issue. I quite often use a table column, with right-adjusted margin,to depict numbers. On occasion, I use parentheses to depict negative numbers. This usually causes a problem in aligning positive numbers with negative numbers. An insert 'E)space' would be ideal. Is it possible to create something like this in the same manner as Em and En spaces? Alternatively, do you have any recommendations for achieving alignment in the column as I have described?
