| 7929 | 2001-01-09 21:29:00 | I have just upgraded from Win98SE to WinME. Now I have a problem that my system does not recognise my connection to Xtra via IE5.5. When I use the 'Dial up connection', the modem connects to Xtra but when I activate IE5.5, I can not access the Xtra home page, or any other for that matter! WinME says to transfer my settings from my previous computer (does this mean the Win98SE)and I must logon to the computer. As a stand alone PC, I do not log on. Anyone know how I can resolve this issue or should I wait in line with Xtra for them to talk me through? |
