| 7987 | 2001-01-14 04:23:00 | i have just purchased a digital camera and are having trouble getting it to communicate with the computer. my computer has two 9 pin serial ports, the mouse is using one and i have the camera pugged into the other . there are only two com ports mentioned in device manager. they are mouse com2 irq 03 i/o range 02f8 02ff modem com3 irq 04 i/o range 03e8 03ef i have used install new hardware to install a new com port which is com 1 irq 4 i/o range 03f8 03ff i keep getting a message that the camera is not connected and i have also tryed the mouse in the second 9 pin plug , but is fails to work. is there some chances i need to make to be able to usae this second 9 pin com port |
