7976 2001-01-13 05:30:00 This applies to Beos 4.4.2 which I have installed on a separate partition from Windows 95. I installed a SiS6326 PCI 4Mb card since the ATI 264 VT2 was only able to work in vesa mode. The new card seems to work alright but I was concerned that I cannot disable my old card from the devices configuration in Beos. Also the method of using Ctrl+arrow keys to change screen position or Shift+arrow keys for sceen size does not work. It does not seem to cause any change at all in the screen, but if I keep my fingers on these keys sometimes the sceen will go dark red with the message 'sceen settings correct?' and I have to reboot in safe mode repeatedly gradually adding a resource at a time so that message does not reappear. I can use the arrow keys on their own to change the refresh rate. My computer is a HP Pavilion 3228. If someone could please help with this I would be grateful. Guest (0)
