| 8006 | 2001-01-15 04:29:00 | I am trying to connect two computers (Win98 Host to Win95 Guest)using Direct Cable Connection (DCC)through a parallel cable. I have successfully done this but only after I have connected the host to the Internet via DUN Modem. Unless the Host is connected, the Guest only says 'cannot find host'. I would like any ideas as to what to do. I need to know what Protocols to have installed, what gets bound to what, and what IP addresses to assign to each etc. basically, I need to know the whole works!! Also, what do 'LM Host' and 'Browse Master' mean. And how can I get the Host to see the guests shared resources (I know this can be done) Thanks for your help. Donald. |
