| 8032 | 2001-01-16 19:22:00 | From windows 98 if you go start => programs => accessories => system tools => system information => tools => system file checker & run, I have run it a few times if comes up with the same following corrupted files mssip32.dll mssign32.dll softpub.dll crytui.dll crynet.dll crytxt.dll msoss.dll setupx.dll mscat.dll and puts them in windows\helpdesk\sfc does anybody know anything about why they get corrupted? |

| 8033 | 2001-08-10 21:03:00 | Hi; I had the same problem when I was having crashes with IE5. I was able to replace (using SFC) some of the files (using my WIN98 CD, but not the CRYPT... files. The solution, is to reinstall IE5 using it's SETUP program. As per Microcrap's instructions on their web site. Good luck. |
