8098 2001-01-20 22:46:00 I have an Access 97 problem. I have written a complex database that I use for managing many aspects of my business. Despite trying at various times over the last 10 years to implement uesr level security, I cannot do it. I find help on how to do this in Access, and follow the rules to set up users and groups with desired permissions, but I get to the last, vital step and I fail. This step is to remove the user 'Admin' from the system. I have myself set up with administrator priviledges, but still Access will not allow me to remove Admin. As I understand it, this makes the whole system insecure.

I must be missing some point that is so simple that the manuals don't think it is necessary to mention it. But what??? I have even tried setting up a trivially simple database to set up security as an example, and can't get any further.
