| 8119 | 2001-01-22 03:13:00 | Hi. I needed to format, and wanted to install Netscape 4.75 clean to the drive. Copied old Netscape files to my 2nd drive, and installed 4.75 to the main drive. Then tried to copy/import my old address book and saved email folders to the new Netscape on the clean drive, from the copied folders and files. Weird thing is that some of the folders with their contents imported fine, but others (the vital ones) didn't. I'd love to know what I have overlooked. It's the old saved emails that I really want to retrieve. Previous Netscape was 4.72. Running Win98 1st ed, Have IE5.5, which was installed prior to the Netscape install, 128 sdram, PII 350, i440bx mumboard, and deep orange drop curtains in the lounge. Any help appreciated, ta. |
