| 8169 | 2001-01-27 00:31:00 | Am trying to Upgrade IE 5.0 to 5.5; + the 'Please Wait' box appears momentarily, then; 'This program has performed an Illegal Operation..etc.', and then the 'This Window will be closed, etc:' Does this have anything to do with my current Registry problems and the probable need to Re-Format my HD? PS:Have managed to 'get through' once, but download failed just previous to this secretive and sinister new ambiguity. NB:My E:\Drive fails to read some disks,notably drivers and especially a copied(burnt) disk,and similar/identical message boxes appear. Q.E.D.?? love from\: The Amateur Deducter. |
