| 1269730 | 2012-04-13 00:54:00 | I have Office 2010 and Visual Studio 2010 installed on my Windows 7 Ultimate PC. Windows Updates install fine, but I'm having total failure in installing any Updates for Office 2010. I keep getting the 80070643 error message. A search on Google suggests a problem with the Dot Net Framework, but any fixes suggested still don't work. Everything else is working fine. | crystalkiwi (16745) | ||

| 1269732 | 2012-04-13 08:12:00 | It looks like this error can appear, if youre using a beta version of Office. Or you upgraded from Office 2007 to 2010 (social.technet.microsoft.com) Did you upgrade from 2007? And is Office 2010 the final version? |

| 1269733 | 2012-04-13 23:59:00 | I had the same update failures, and following the MS suggested fixes there was no change. Then a week or so back I went through the fixes again and the updates installed no problem. Can't remember which "fix" did the trick, but had to stop the update service and then delete some folders of update files and restart the update service. If you try again and one of the fixes suggested sounds like the above give it a go. |
