1247160 2011-12-05 03:15:00 Have a friend who needs a website.

No ecommerce or anything, just info with some pages to advertise her products.

I suggested SItebuilder but she couldn't handle that.

It's also tricky as her budget is pathetic, any suggestions on cheap but not dodgy web page creators?

1247163 2011-12-05 04:01:00 If she cant handle basic programs like that, than maybe she should get someone to design it for her. Cant be any more simple than drag and drop.

One of the guys here does site design -- cant remember his name right now :o

1247164 2011-12-05 04:01:00 Yola (www.yola.com/) and Google sites (https: m%2F&followup=http%3A%2F%2Fsites.google.com%2F&service=jotspot&passive=true&ul=1) are drag and drop. If can't handle them she may want to promote (or perhaps should) in article directories. Go Articles (goarticles.com/), Ezines, Squidoo, and Hub pages are all relatively popular. Also local directories, and free press release sites (http:). kahawai chaser (3545)

1247166 2011-12-05 19:54:00 I've got a few friends in America that do site backgrounds etc. Depends whether she wants something commercial or something created by some random. Doesnt really make sense but im sure you get where im coming from. EmoCat (16620)
1247167 2011-12-05 23:10:00 Have a talk to Lemus Art who used Joomla! to create the website for St Oswalds Anglican Church. With Joomla! you are able to edit the website yourself which is a great idea.

His user name on PF1 is Hueybot3000.

1247168 2011-12-06 01:04:00 If she has no budget and isn't to fussy I can throw one together with Artisteer. No good if she's wanting to update regularly but for a one off it doesn't get easier/cheaper than that unless she does it herself. hueybot3000 (3646)
