| 1270033 | 2012-04-18 12:46:00 | Lol icow the 7970 and 680 are both very good cards that will run any game you throw at them. The 680 is currently just way too expensive in my opinion with some 7970's being allmost $150 cheaper. You see i thought the 680 was a bargian when it came out but the 7970 prices have droped dramatically. And the amd drivers are fine on my 7950 so should also be fine on the 7970. The 7970 will outperform the 680 in a few ways but thr 680 is definatly the better card. Now XFX is not looking for a high end gaming rig and is sticking with the gpu that has been said (although maybe asus brand one). So lets not turn this into yet another hoplessly bias nvidia v amd debate. Thank you. | Slankydudl (16687) | ||
| 1270034 | 2012-04-18 21:32:00 | The 7970 is the worlds best according to many. It also uses less power than a few other cards. It was the best until recently, however it is now relegated to 2nd place not only in performance but, every metric, power/watt, power/price, doesnt have the AMD driver team and doesnt tear in 3 monitor setup.... Availability it must be said, is allowing retail to gouge a little though! |

| 1270041 | 2012-04-19 13:19:00 | im tryin to buy from Alpha so it all comes at once, Who you guys think has the best version of the 560ti, and who has it in stockGigabyte or EVGA have the highest clock speed (900MHz) although that doesnt necessarily mean its a better card, the Asus clock is 830MHz and Leadtek GTX 560 Ti Hurricane has a clock speed of 822MHz, kinda odd to call it a hurricane when its got the slowest clock speed in the class lol. All available from Ascent. Personally I have found gigabyte ok and reliable, havent had much to do with the other brands of late. | Iantech (16386) | ||
