2012-04-16 03:05:00 | It all looks good to me. As for the graphics card debate, as a gamer myself I usually go for the best graphics card I can afford as it has the biggest impact on games and a faster one will last longer before games need more performance. I have been quite impressed with how well the 6770 performs in my backup machine though so yes the 7770 or 7750 is probably good enough depending how much of a gamer you are.

2012-04-16 05:05:00 | For the gpu consider going to an Asus brand. I love asus gpu's even if they sort of fell short with the 7950's quality. | Slankydudl (16687) | |
2012-04-16 05:39:00 | Hey Slanky have heard the Asus fans can be noisy. Not sure if that is true or not, maybe google it Cant believe the 7950s are over 700 bucks! the 6850s are already hard to find.

2012-04-16 06:16:00 | yeah if i put my fans over 30% manually they start to be audible. but when playing bf3 they will never automatically go over 10% and only went up to 20% when i stress tested. but people have complained about the new 7950 using the old cooler. It is a bit lame by asus but the direct cuII cooling solution worked fine for the older GPUS that created more heat so it will work just as well but cooler by default for newer gpus. if you have the money get the asus 7970 that is an amazing gpu. So yeah you ramp those things to 100% and they are quite loud but that is a ludicrously high RPM. And yeah for the moment they are a bit expensive but a 7950 will outmatch a gtx 580. when i got my 7950 it was $850 :P so atleast they are going down in price. | Slankydudl (16687) | |

Why are you recommending a GPU more expensive than the GTX680, has 85% of the perfomance, is a crap shot for drivers, uses more power, runs hotter, and has tearing issues when using eyefinity? |

2012-04-18 06:31:00 | The 7970 is the worlds best according to many. It also uses less power than a few other cards. | ChazTheGeek (16619) | |
2012-04-18 07:52:00 | The 680 has to be better performance. They had like an extra 4 months over the 7970. Everyone would be kind of mad if it wasnt better. Im pretty sure it draws less power too. | icow (15313) | |
