Lol, big call considering they aren't out yet. Prliminary test results seem to show approx 5% better performance clock for clock with lower temps and power usage. And these are just the first release models.

Back on topic, are you a big gamer and do you have a preference for AMD graphics cards? A 7950, 7970, 560Ti, or 570 would be a better choice and as I mentioned Z68 is now superseded by Z77.
Really though there's nothing wrong with what you posted, so if you're keen on those parts go ahead.

1270018 2012-04-16 01:30:00 No no no wait for 7990... ChazTheGeek (16619)
1270019 2012-04-16 01:33:00 chaz the 7970 is $850 bucks. the 7990 will be well over $1300. I know it will be a great GPU but this guy clearly is not interested in having a very high end GPU and the 7770 is an awesome card for what he wants and is very cheap. Slankydudl (16687)
1270020 2012-04-16 02:21:00 From memory 7770 is about the same as a 460 performance wise. icow (15313)
1270021 2012-04-16 02:22:00 XFX, that build there is great. That case is a good call too. You'll be very happy with it.

This is a great resource and very handy for comparing card performance - www.anandtech.com

And Chaz, not everyone needs the latest and most powerful gear, that kind of advice isn't too helpful.

If that is a Sapphire card, can I suggest getting a Gigabyte or other brand. From personal experience I dont think Sapphire build a good card (even with using good parts).
Just my personal opinion.
Other than that, sounds like it will be a nice build. Good luck.
