1246770 2011-12-02 09:07:00 It's not Android spying on you, but your carrier and the manufacturers of the phone. If you want to talk about spying then Facebook takes the cake.

EA will run them a close second.

I'll second that. I believe part of CIQ has been found in iOS? I may be mislead there, still been briefly looking over all the articles appearing in my stream the last couple of days... Not really interested personally coz I run custom ROMs ;)

Interestingly, the only devices found to be entirely free of Carrier ID are Google’s Nexus products and Windows Phone 7.

1246774 2011-12-02 22:19:00 Windows Phone is more attractive now isn't it :D
For thoroughly trained and suitably demented users, yes :D

Windoze - a crash-hot way to play games.

By devices, they mean smartphones. :p

1246777 2011-12-02 22:56:00 My Nokia is a smartphone it has and a qwerty keyboard squished onto a 12 key panel (that fully counts :D). It also has excellent multitasking capabilities e.g. I can text and use it as a hammer at the same time :p icow (15313)

Same here and I can even use it as a cat toy if needed

The "smart" bit takes out the Windozaphones. ;) (Actually, it's Windoze that takes out the smarts.)

Why do I need to find a phone that is trying? We have a Government that I find trying enough for the most dedicated masochist. :D
