| 1269951 | 2012-04-14 03:15:00 | Hi guys, I haven't really kept up with the latest, but I'm on the market for a HDD enclosure, was hoping to get some recommendations. I need a good quality one that will last a good year or 2. It's for a 3.5" 1TB spinpoint F3, but might upgrade to a bigger capacity drive later. USB 2.0 certified will do at the very least, would prefer one with USB 2.0 AND eSATA, or USB 3. I don't really want a 'desktop expansion' enclosure (ie, one with an ugly stand) as I want to take it with me on my travels. I was looking at this www.ascent.co.nz the stand seems to be low profile, but I'm not sure if it's removeable A rugged sort of enclosure would be nice, or something with a hard case that I can put it in while on the move would be good. Budget $100 - $200 ish Thanks :) |
