1470712 2020-07-26 03:24:00 Although I would like to think otherwise, it is SWMBO who makes the decisions at our place. Occasionally she will ask my opinion but in the end it is up to "the boss."

Things go along fairly well as I acquiesce, even if it is only to keep the peace.

How do things go in your household? About the same?:punk

1470713 2020-07-26 04:11:00 Tend to Agree Roscoe. BUT I have two to contend with, Its either SWMBO or the Dog. Example as writing this - on a three seater couch - Dogs laid / stretched out beside me, I have just enough room to sit down on an area about the size of 3/4 of a cushion.

How it normally works around here is SWMBO comes up with an idea, then its up to me as to how to achieve it. Sometimes its :groan: Not gonna happen other times its

There's one Golden rule I remind her of -- if anything is not how YOU insisted how you wanted it, Just remember it was YOUR IDEA !!!

Doing up our bedroom at the moment, the large wardrobe is a outdated mess. So she ordered a couple of Wardrobe organizers, turned up yesterday - Now the "Disagreements on how they will be installed will start, as they are quite a bit bigger than she thought -- Stay Tuned :D

1470714 2020-07-26 04:37:00 You weak blokes. I am the boss in our house. I always insist on making the decisions. Even though my decision is to go along with whatever SWMBO says!

Ken :) :)

Now I do. But then he can't do as much anymore, physically or otherwise...

For instance the weedeater...OK we had crap brand ones (not real crap...but fairly crap). Getting the string on was always a pita, so new one, he took the head off, the string spronged out all over and I said ets just go down to Stihl.
The book isn't real helpful, it has diagrams bt not text.

Turns out you don't, you feed string in hole, and head winds it in itself. Cool.

He forgot the minute we got back home. So it will take a few goes before he has that in his head now.

Also buying it. He didn't want to at first, but it takes so damn long by hand...
Now, cause it's not a pita, he actually likes it. Although he can't do it for long....he said, sucks getting old.

And my car key went flat, go to Toyota he said, well I was...but then service charge? And I'm too impatient to wait till tomorrow so I figured out how it comes apart (slightly tricky) and chnaged it myself.
While he told me not to....

And my printer....fixed that too.

See new post

1470717 2020-07-26 07:15:00 We share them although I mostly wear shorts year round.

Anything is fixable just about especially with the invention of YouTube.

Our petrol weedeater which cost $20 at a garage sale I just replaced the head with a Little Juey one from Mitre 10, no spool as they take single lengths of cord which is very strong and takes about 2 mins to change when it eventually breaks.

I looked at that, was going to but this thing is so simple.....know we know how to stick the string end in and leave it to it....
