| 1464965 | 2019-11-16 19:39:00 | I have tried to find a way to cancel the recommendations from YouTube but somehow can't get it right. Sure it's their site but when I seem to have pages of recommendations, none of any that I'm interested in, it becomes most annoying. Surely there is a tweek somewhere to delete and hopefully never let them appear again that can be utilised. Any ideas? |

Three steps and you get a complete blank page on youtube, The home page is what has the recommendations. Examples: Before and after: 10073 10074 Step 1 - Download and install The NEW Edge browser ( DEV option), its the one thats soon to replace the Current Edge (based on Chrome) Been using this browser ever since it came out months ago, its rock stable even in the DEV version. Links www.microsoftedgeinsider.com Step 2. Once Edge is setup and going go to chrome.google.com (chrome.google.com) Click the "Add to Chrome". Step 3. Enable the removing Home page (youtube Icon - Show home page as well as several other options). Found this video and tried it, it works :D www.youtube.com Ignore the comment about not working on Edge, its different to Edge DEV. |

OK this didn't happen on the PC I was using when posting that, as I had already allowed extensions. Look along the top to allow extensions, on the office PC I had to click the above banner, then the option appeared. 10075 Then 10076 If that doesn't show, open the settings / Extensions: (3 dots top right) 10077 Then bottom Left turn on allow Extensions from Other Stores 10078 |

| 1464972 | 2019-11-17 21:38:00 | Hi WT. Yesterday was not a good one and I was tired. This AM I rebooted the PC and followed your instructions from post#5. All works well now, just needed rest I think plus the reboot. I'm very pleased with the result. Bryan. |

| 1464973 | 2019-11-18 07:56:00 | There is also a Firefox addon to do this too. Link (addons.mozilla.org) | gary67 (56) | ||
| 1464974 | 2019-11-18 21:21:00 | I have DF You Tube installed in FF and Chrome easy to toggle off and on as required. Probably similar to gary's link. | bellbird (6169) | ||
