1464919 2019-11-13 14:39:00 I have a virgin mobile cell phone and I can't make heads of tales of the manual. I'm 72 and don't know anything about cell phones. Is there a book for Dummies, or Dumb people like me that can help me better understand the cell phone? lostsoul62 (16011)
1464920 2019-11-13 17:25:00 What model cell phone do you have? Just what can you not do? If there is nobody handy to help out it would be a good idea to take it in to your service provider and get one of their staff to help you get it set up. CliveM (6007)
1464921 2019-11-13 18:37:00 Have you got any children or grandchildren within reach? I observe that many children aged over 5 seem to be very familiar with the most recent mobile phones. Age 10 to 15 would be good if you have grandkids. coldot (6847)

Yes, this.
Whoever your provider is - Spark, Vodafone...go in and ask for some help, they'll show you.

1464923 2019-11-13 19:55:00 ....virgin mobile ....

Not enough info. :)

Is it a VirginMobile phone, as in the company VirginMobile ??
If yes, thats Aus & UK. If locked, it might not even work in NZ .

So, need to know where you got it
what phone brand it is
Have you signed up to a NZ mobile phone service ?
Has it got a Sim installed ?

Was this someones old phone that was given to you ?

1464924 2019-11-14 00:00:00 I understand everyone and I just need to use my head. Having no friends or family to speak of make my feel I need help when really I don't need it if I just learn to think. I'm the kind of person that says help me. It's a bad habit with a higher than average IQ and a Network admin in Silicon Valley for 20 years, I just have to learn to quit being such a baby. Thanks for waking me up. lostsoul62 (16011)
1464925 2019-11-14 00:15:00 we're all willing to help where we can, but cant advise unless we know what you have and what you're trying to do . :)
