2020-07-18 06:48:00 | Where do you get that info from? Worldometers give flu as......... Every year an estimated 290,000 to 650,000 people die in the world due to complications from seasonal influenza (flu) viruses. This figure corresponds to 795 to 1,781 deaths per day due to the seasonal flu. Since mid February this year there has been 600,000 deaths from Covid-19 . That's in 5 months? Both figures from Worldometers Ken

2020-07-18 21:37:00 | Where do you get that info from? What info? The flu? Off the news the other day...the NZ news, they quoted last years flu stats. Our flu, not the worlds. 22000 cases, 500 deaths they said. As for Worldometer, as I said sort by new deaths...bugger all.

2020-07-19 00:13:00 | "The pandemic has now killed more than 590,000 people in almost seven months, edging towards the upper range of yearly influenza deaths reported worldwide." From the article I posted.

2020-07-19 00:25:00 | and the bit just before that in that article.... The number of cases globally is around triple that of severe influenza illnesses recorded annually, according to the World Health Organization. and it's only been 6 months since the very fist case!! So no - it's not bugger all at all -4,852 in the last 24hr and 604,084 dead in 6 months

2020-07-19 03:00:00 | in NZ.....as I said. Not the world. www.stuff.co.nz About 23,600 people who visited a general practice and more than 1770 hospitalised patients had influenza in New Zealand during the 2019 flu season so far. And apparently 500 deaths. Which is way more than covid did here. Worldwide? Up to 650 000 deaths annually are associated with respiratory diseases from seasonal influenza, according to new estimates by the United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (US-CDC), the World Health Organization and global health partners. www.who.int
