1470275 2020-07-15 22:24:00 Yeah in general politicians are the worst type of people, we are so lucky to have a lovely person like Jacinda guiding our ship through the dark night of covid etc, (in case it's necessary /joke). zqwerty (97)
1470276 2020-07-15 23:11:00 At least with Judith whether you like her or loathe her at least you know where she stands and if she can sort out her team in the next couple of weeks it will give the voters something different to consider come election day. Nationals biggest problem under the last couple of leaders was that they were afraid of appearing mean/sexist if they criticized the PM in any way. Judith does not have that problem. Also Nationals only real point of difference has been that they reckoned they would continue to do exactly the same things as the current lot but that they would do it better. If the country want the same stuff to continue why would they vote for a change.
As already pointed out by 1101 it is really only the 10% or so of swinging voters in the middle that decide the election and they are the the voters who need to be persuaded one way or the other. The dyed in the wool team players very rarely change their vote no matter what.

Whats so great about her?
She is a master of announcing the happy bits and keeping the not happy secret.

Like all the stuff they have given china instead of NZ companies, during lockdown even...no big announcements.

and heaps of aren't we nice, we give a power subsidy to the pensioners and beneficiaries, but no announcing the negative changes they made.

And as for lockdown....why. Even now they keep banging on about cases, but you go look up deaths. None now. Flu was 22000 cases last year and 500 deaths, but did we shut the country down cause a few old people died? Nope. BUt what the others do, especially Aussie, NZ must copy.

They're burbling about new lockdowns now ***.

That would really trash the economy. I'm not fan of her at all.

What, criticizing her isn't mean or sexist? Depends who you ask.

I dunno, they are a bit sexist...national...but still, she's in now. As I said, don't like her, but she is the better choice, she's not wimp.

1470279 2020-07-16 05:57:00 I wouldn’t want anything to do with Judith Collins given her relationship with Cameron Slater.

Just to remind you HERE. (www.newshub.co.nz)

Then don’t forget there are 700,000 eligible voters who couldn’t be bothered last election and could be a factor in this one.

Personally, I think Judith Collins and Michelle Boag came out of the same mould, or should that be mold.

1470280 2020-07-16 07:18:00 Who needs an AK47 to hunt? Hunting is generally so you can eat it..not demolish the thing.
No-one needs an AK47....and the fact that gangs of course did not be good boys and hand in their weapons doesn't mean we should become America.

Where did I say anyone needed an AK or any other auto or semi auto rifle. However professional pest controllers should have the option of a semi auto. Yes of course gangs handed nothing in, I'm just pointing out that the rule changes didn't affect anyone who might want to pull off a similar atrocity, where as it did affect law abiding firearms owners.

1470281 2020-07-16 08:50:00 I have been studying the Covid crisis ever since it started in Wuhan and I think that if we open the borders even a bit, thousands maybe tens of thousands will die, Covid is serious disease and even when the symptoms seem to have stopped and the virus seems inactive, the damage done to internal organs is long term and life altering no matter what the age of the victim.

Brain, heart, stomach, blood carrying tubes of all sizes, lungs are all long term damaged and the virus just seems to invade all available vulnerable cells in the human body and turn them into covid cells indiscriminately.

There also seems to be long term mental issues from the brain damage, you don't want to catch this disease.

Very contagious person to person and also airborne.

The National party will try to open up the country before we have a vaccine and we will have a disaster like in Victoria and the rest of the world.

1470282 2020-07-16 09:23:00 We will soon see if NZ is a sicko commie country if it votes for the Commie Ardern over a Nationalist New Zealander. prefect (6291)
