1470265	2020-07-14 22:36:00	I've been watching Judith Collins for a while now, she's going to be really formidable as Prime Minister, it's really telling that the Nat's haven't picked her as leader up untill now and shows how incompetent they are as whole in that they cannot even recognize leadership material of the highest quality in their ranks and bring it forward to shine, it takes an accident of fate for them to have chosen her. They're lucky to have her and I think she may bring National to win the election after the next one. She's got this magisterial quality which you either have or you don't, born with it, coupled with a quick mind.	zqwerty (97)

1470267	2020-07-14 23:47:00	The problem the Nats seem to have, is not realizing they need to pickup the swing/new voters . Thats where they needed to focus . The usual Nat supporters would have voted for Nat no matter who was the leader . Collins may seem a good choice to Nat supporters, but will she put off swing/undecided voters ? Will she send undecided voters to NZ 1st or labour . In times of economic hardship (its coming) , with people worried about loosing jobs, will those undecided vote for a SEEMINGLY slash & burn Nat party . Nat have a history of cutting welfare, thats isnt going to help them win votes in these times of economic crisis . A less hard nosed Leader may have been a better pick ? We dont see what Collins was really like , behind closed doors . There may have been a reason she was not a their leader up untill now . :-)	1101 (13337)

1470269	2020-07-15 07:34:00	Must of the hunting fraternity of which there is a considerable amount are looking at either Act or New Conservative as they both have positive attitudes towards firearms ownership. The recent case of a gang caught with an AK47 proved that the Labour buyback of arms from law abiding citizens was a kick in the teeth to hunters also the Greens along with Forest & bird and DoC trying to wipe out Tahr a world endangered species because the Minster of Destruction wants it done also isn't helping Labours cause. Now I know a few on here think I'm a die hard labour fan which is far from the truth, but seriously Collins Magisterial is the biggest laugh this century. The grumpy cow is almost as bad as Trump tossing her toys when things don't go as she wants. Some think of her as the new Thatcher when in reality she is more Dame Edna.	gary67 (56)
1470270	2020-07-15 10:42:00	The National Party is a party of people who all want to be chiefs and nobody wants to be an indian, typical managerial types, thus they all fight to get to the top and suppress anyone with real ability, namely Judith and most of all because she is a woman, the best sex to take on Jacinda, but in spite of that she has never been chosen to lead up until now. National is a team in name only and would not allow her to be leader because they all want to be the boss and will never well work as a term. The New Zealand individualistic culture does not make for good teams in industry and it seems politics, and the inverse snobbery I have spoken of before has a part to play in this as individual greatness is not encouraged or recognized in the race to the bottom to be to most self-effacing and not having airs and graces as seen by jealous others. The only thing admired is a cutting tone and quick repartee, something Judith has plenty of.	zqwerty (97)

Hunting is generally so you can eat it..not demolish the thing. No-one needs an AK47....and the fact that gangs of course did not be good boys and hand in their weapons doesn't mean we should become America.	piroska (17583)

Amy Adams keeps changing her mind, she obviously doesnt want to be there . She may just change her mind again Nikki Kaye, perhaps because she has lost her top spot that she had for a week ? It says more about her than about the party Politicians often announce they are retiring before the next election. Its nothing new , who would want that job.
