| 1471207 | 2020-08-17 06:35:00 | What piroska has described here is the cross that many women have to bear through their entire life and what makes it worse is that the men and children recipients take it for granted. These angels should be paid by the government which would be a good way of injecting money onto the economy to get more economic activity. No, not the men. HUsband realises his issues, he appreciates it. Mostly. My mum is the *****. They wouldn't let her out of hospital till I came the first time, she tells people I am tolerated cause of my brother. Well partly, his issues. But she can't, the place was filthy when we moved here. Really filthy, encrusted stuff, back of cupboards, old food, really old, the loo, well, put it this way...we replaced it. But she's just nasty. Every bloody day. I started some washing this morning, she came along after it had finished, stuffed more in on top and restarted it. When I said it was done she said oh well you can't wait for me to be dead, I'm just in the way etc. My brother got in the poo later cause his shirt was being ironed by her (Cause I don't iron properly) and it was crappy material or something. He pointed out she bought it and she got nasty with him, no she didn't, etc etc...and he just likes to look sloppy (like me she said) now I'm here (a reference to the fact I took him to Kmart so he could buy himself some jeans). I had no input into that other than driving him there...but being 60, she is supposed to buy his clothes and decide what he wears.... The bathroom reno, well that was unnecessary apparently, it's just "I don't like anything of hers". Ditto the new pots I bought. Seriously they were rusty, the handles broken etc...but no, she's had them for years she said, throwing away good things again she said. Yep, she did, I remember those pots from Nelson when I was 9.... I get snarky comments from her all day. She's sulking right now cause Tony wanted lamb for dinner and she doesn't like lamb. So she wouldn't eat it and ran off to her room. She bought the lamb actually... She's done that before, she'll stay in there for days, come out now and then to make more nasty comments and run back in there. I know she'd like to be able to do more now, but she can't......hell I wouldn't mind someone doing all the work for me...whatever the hell they want to cook too. Depresses husband, she never liked him, he doesn't have a name here. She refers to him as "your man" or "that man". |

| 1471209 | 2020-08-17 08:43:00 | Up at 6 every day news on the net and a couple of forums then off to work about 7.15. Weekend up at 6 still same internet stuff then whatever SWMBO wants me to help with, cleaning, garden stuff or trying to reduce the magpie, rabbit population a bit. I can always find plenty to do and if nothing here then its out on the bike for some exercise or walking in the mountains over the road from home. | gary67 (56) | ||

| 1471215 | 2020-09-11 07:12:00 | I'm not retired yet..but, I would like to mention how my Grandpa spend his retirement. He worked as a Librarian and he still has traces of it. Most of his day is used to read papers and books. He still loves reading and books. Once a week visit bookshop and buy a new book and read it. He has an idea to start his own library too | SabrinaF (17716) | ||

Then I opened a bookshop. Nowdays I can't afford it, and find it hard to find that much decent stuff. I do reread my collection. And buy maybe 2 - 10 a month. |
