Same in my house.
If they use that stuff, why didnt they at least paint or seal it before laying lino/tiles, to make it more water resistant . Ive a few areas slowing turning into weetbix .

agreed, absolutely insane to use such a water sensitive material in a wet area and that the regulators allowed it to happen.

tho these days its changed a bit thanks to leaky homes. councils do not like being the last man standing.
