1488503 2022-09-28 03:53:00 Using Firefox v105.0.1. Where do I look to stop it suddenly deciding to save my Bank access number when I log in. I guess it should be in Security and Privacy but I am having trouble sorting it out.

Any help would be appreciated. I have looked on the net but am going around in circles.

Find the bank entry and delete it.
Watch out for the next time you visit the site, there should be a popup asking whether or not to save login details. Select Never For This Site.

Maybe delete the bank cookie as well (on the same Security page).

I can't find any reference to BNZ and I still have the same problem. It is a problem with Firefox but where I don't know. Perhaps I should reinstall Firefox.? Pato (2463)
1488507 2022-09-29 02:34:00 Are you loading the BNZ page from a bookmarked URL which already holds the Access Number as part of the address? Or do you get the number applied simply from browsing from BNZ.co.nz? Paul.Cov (425)

I just browsed bnz and the nr still comes up. I have cleared all history and I have never had bnz in bookmarks.

1488512 2022-10-01 00:59:00 Many thanks, Piroska. I followed your guidelines. Interestingly I had to repeat the process several times before it finally "kicked in" and Firefox stopped displaying my Access Card Nr.
FYI, I have always manually keyed in my banks' web addresses rather than clicking in a dropdown list from a former log on. From memory this was strongly recommended on BNZ Community. I follow the same practice with my other 2 banks (and "No!" having more than 1 bank does not mean I have a lot of money-alas)
