1487763 2022-08-10 21:10:00 If it becomes necessary to reinstall Win 11 on a non compliant machine, can you simply reinstall Win 11 or do you need to go back to the basics as if you are upgrading from Win10 and use the work around to do so? Bryan (147)

You will be able to install W11 from scratch, no need to install w10 1st. Only problem is you will need a modified ISO ( rufus does it now)

You wont have to enter a product key as when its online the hardware will register as being previously activated and will auto activate again.

1487766 2022-08-13 08:26:00 You could also make an image of your current setup and use that to restore it if needed. Only issue is it will quickly get out of date if you don't do it regularly. dugimodo (138)

At least you will not have to set up all the software etc, and it will only take a few minutes to restore.

1487768 2022-08-15 19:07:00 Thanks for that. My concern was is there anything else other than the Operating System that might be in play that makes the dropping in of an image might not cover. Nice to know it is only the Operating System that is involved. Bryan (147)
