| 1487641 | 2022-07-31 06:02:00 | There was a time when "Run as Administrator " appeared on the Drop down menu of the properties that appeared if you Right clicked on the desktop. In Windows 11 I cannot get this to happen. I've looked on Google and I am afraid I cannot get their suggestions to work or they are way over my head. I think that under Win10 there was an easy way to install this but I cannot find how. Anyone able to help please? |

The only time it shows ( as it always should do) is if a shortcut or exe or some other option is available to open as admin. Simply right clicking on the desktop wont do anything as in reality the desktop is only a folder in the windows system. Example a link to a exe (program is shortcut to Winmerge on the desktop) 11357 |
