1488478 2022-10-01 20:50:00 but now I'm not so sure. Too many things don't have good answers.

Why are you not certain?

But as I said, how do you convince the entire world? That's a pretty tall order.

And what sort of things do not have good answers?

Perhaps a good programme for you to watch is Nasa's Unexplained Files on the Rush channel on Monday - Friday at 1010. Very interesting.

1488479 2022-10-01 20:53:00 I don't know, I didn't even exist back then.

But there must have been a lot of people involved, and if it was a conspiracy, surely by now someone would have talked

That's been my sole argument to support it happening.

I don't believe that not ONE person spliied the beans, if it was all a fake.

But I'm still not convinced, even with that.

1488480 2022-10-01 21:01:00 Maybe this new mission www.nasa.gov will prove something one way or the other, I presume they will be able to find and take photos of the equipment from the original landing.

(Why does that website look like something from a sci-fi movie?)

1488481 2022-10-01 21:06:00 Good point. I just can't understand them.

If you think, for a moment, that it's a conspiracy and the earth really is flat, then how do you convince the entire world? Particularly with all the evidence to the contrary. It surely is one helluva conspiracy.:waughh:

Perhaps the same thought processes are at play as with those who believe religions are real....

You're right . There is usually more than one person who has to stand up yelling loudly that it was all made up .

And this brings to mind that which I heard just recently: It’s not that we are becoming more stupid, it’s just that the stupid among us are becoming louder . :groan:

1488483 2022-10-02 00:19:00 It's the Gen-Z'ers .

They cry 'bullying!' if they're made to do something in their employment that social media says they shouldn't have to . . . they then need a month off for 'anxiety and mental health' issues, and they use this time to suffer more anxiety trying to work out what gender they are .

1488484 2022-10-02 07:09:00 There's groups of people who just want to believe in conspiracies .
They wont be swayed by reason or proof .

I think its simplify stupid people who honestly believe they are very smart (I used to have a friend like that)

Look up "birds arnt real " , started as a spoof against nutty conspiracies . Unfortunately some later saw that as being real :groan:

I'm not sure what that idea has got to do with conspiracy theories, aside from the fact that it's likely also a load of rubbish .
