| 1487814 | 2022-08-17 23:36:00 | Conclusion: The PC that works is an older Legacy Win 10 Pro O/S. It works perfectly. The system that has a problem is a UEFI PC with Win11. I have used a GT430 Graphics card with no improvement. I have attached, as a test, a Samsung monitor and used external speakers, no problem. The problem is only with my Sony Bravia KD 55x9000h TV used as a monitor. It has a Sony soundbar attached, connected through the ARC HDMI. My only conclusion is that the TV has a problem recognising the input from the UEFI Win 11 PC. I think that this might be the problem and will have to use the Legacy PC which is not a concern for me. I just would like to know what the real problem is. Looking on Google there are others who also have the problem and no one has come up with an answer. Maybe one day someone will have an answer. At this time I believe the case is closed. |

| 1487817 | 2022-08-18 00:33:00 | HDMI and a tv used as a monitor has always been a problem with my setup; if you had alternative inputs, which you don't, I think you would find that the setup would work fine, I associate the HDMI connection format as the problem on computer to HDMI to tv interfaces. | zqwerty (97) | ||
