| 1488545 | 2022-09-29 22:12:00 | I've got the PC hooked up to a TV, using hdmi. I was the audio to come out of the TV speakers Sounds exactly like ours, the Veon TV is connected to the media Center under the TV via a HDMI Cable. Because the Veon Speakers are lets say less than good, I have a lot better set of External speakers connected to the 3.5mm outlet on the TV. Just checked the settings on both the TV and Media Center. TV - Speakers Set to External Source, PC Again Smart TV via the Nvidia Audio. 11411 To Answer your question on how to add a Screen shot, you can do it like this: Make sure you are in Advanced mode on the Forum when answering, bottom Right hand corner. 11412 Click on the insert Picture Icon: 11413 Click on Computer, Choose File, navigate to where your screen shot is, select it, click upload Files 11414 IF the HDMI is not allowing Audio, either the correct drivers are not installed for the card, or something else in the card settings are blocking. |

| 1488548 | 2022-09-29 22:54:00 | So you reckon it won't make a difference if I get a spdif cord? Dont know. BUT back in #3 mentioned "only 2 spdif high def audio, headphones, and speakers" So you have no Nvidia Option like screen shot posted earlier ?? Also What OS ?? You can try this driver, but no idea what will happen. www.nvidia.com Whats the Brand of Card Just looking a LOT of the 9500's dont have HDMI, only DVI , VGA, if you are using an adapter to get HDMI then theres the problem. |

| 1488552 | 2022-09-30 07:10:00 | Just to make sure you have the Correct drivers. Suggestion, 1st download the drivers www.nvidia.com 2nd download DDU, www.guru3d.com (links near the bottom of the page) Note: Normal uninstall leaves truck loads of Files, drivers behind that can cause problems. Unplug or disable the internet. ( so windows doesn't try to download basic drivers in next step) run DDU and completely remove ALL nVidia Drivers. On rebooting install the fresh drivers, making sure the Audio / HDMI are selected. May Need to select customise/advanced options to see. See if the nvidia options are now available in Sound and HDMI works ( or not). The fact nVidia is not showing in the sound options usually means drivers not there. |

| 1488553 | 2022-10-01 14:31:00 | I think I had this problem with my old HD5700. The HDMI never gave audio out no matter what. I think the card was just faulty. |
