1488513 2022-10-01 01:23:00 Many thanks, Piroska. I followed your guidelines. Interestingly I had to repeat the process several times before it finally "kicked in" and Firefox stopped displaying my Access Card Nr.
FYI, I have always manually keyed in my banks' web addresses rather than clicking in a dropdown list from a former log on. From memory this was strongly recommended on BNZ Community. I follow the same practice with my other 2 banks (and "No!" having more than 1 bank does not mean I have a lot of money-alas)Interesting that you had the same problem as I do. I am still trying to stop my account number being displayed. Which of piroskas guideline was successful.?

1488515 2022-10-06 07:56:00 If you have cleared the history and it still comes up, try Settings-privacy & Security , there scroll down till you see Cookies and Site data. Use the Clear Data button there. Note that if you have some sites that you don't have to log in each time, then clearing the data also clears this TILL you again go to that site and log in again. pheonix (36)

1488517 2022-10-10 18:16:00 You need to open the saved passwords options and delete it from there Agent_24 (57)
1488518 2022-10-10 21:31:00 You need to open the saved passwords options and delete it from thereThanks for the suggestion but it does not appear in saved passwords. Pato (2463)
1488519 2022-10-10 22:03:00 Thanks for the suggestion but it does not appear in saved passwords. If the password is not saved /Shown its possible the cookies are holding it. Clear them and see what happens.

Easier to post a link to clear cookies than write it all out :) -- OR use ccleaner and remove them. support.mozilla.org

1488521 2022-10-10 23:42:00 Pato, with Firefox running, go to Tools/Settings/Scroll down to Cookies and Site Data/Choose Manage Data, Find all BNZ Cookies and delete them. zqwerty (97)

Try this.
Go to BNZ login screen. Click in the Access number field, then click on "View saved logins":

11419

On the page which opens, search for "bnz" in the search field at the top.
Then you should find the entry for "secure.bnz.co.nz"
Which will show your details. Then you can click the remove button in the top right.

11420

That should do it?
