| 1488255 | 2022-09-11 00:15:00 | Good to see, they sure tricked the filth Russians by going on about future attacks in Kherson then attack Kharkov. The filth Russians sent reinforcements to Kherson which have to be killed sooner or later to be trapped by a river with now no bridges. Extreme brilliance and filth Russians never saw it coming. Slava Ukraine. |

| 1488256 | 2022-09-11 10:14:00 | "Taras Shevchenko is probably the most famous Ukrainian. He is probably the most important Ukrainian. You could argue between him or Xmel'nyts'skyi, an analogue to a Ukrainian George Washington, but even more important. You can debate about which is 1st, neither is 3rd. He wrote his whole life critiquing Russian Imperialism, and was often punished for it. In the end, he was exiled from Ukraine and died young, stuck in Russian exile." And glory, mountains blue, to you, In ageless ice encased! And glory, freedoms knights, to you, Whom God will not forsake. Keep fighting you are sure to win! God helps you in your fight! For fame and freedom march with you, And right is on your side! THE CAUCASUS Translated by John Weir |

| 1488258 | 2022-09-14 03:09:00 | Russia has no valid claims on Ukraine. The Reds seized Crimea after many battles (1918) during revolution. The Ukrainians sought German help who drove out the Reds but then after Germany's defeat. the Reds came back. -huge deportations and executions. Stalin hated Ukrainian farmers and deported Tartars (millions from memory) to gulags because they resisted collective farming. The Ukrainians welcomed the Germans in 1941 but Hitler's silly stance about subhuman Slavs ruined that. If he been more rational, he would have had Ukrainians on his side and might have won in Barbarossa. During WW2 some Ukrainians fought both Germany and the Soviet Union. Near war's end a Ukranian nationalist/independence movement was brutally crushed by Stalin. Premier Khrushchev (to some people's surprise) allocated Crimea to Ukraine. The Russian speaking areas of Ukraine mainly arise because of the mass deportations of original inhabitants to be replaced by Russians. |
