1488090 2022-08-27 23:23:00 Those details look legit ( actually looked on the realme site). as well as My own RealMe login.

The best way -- go to the legit RealMe site ( just google it) or this is a legit link https://www.realme.govt.nz/ And sign in with your known details.

NEVER trust any emails that put a login link, these scammers are very good these days so its good you asked. May be nothing but better safe than sorry.

The displayed text and the URL behind it aren't always the same.

1488093 2022-08-31 23:50:00 bk T I received a similar email a couple of years ago. I was puzzled so phoned Real Me and got told "pattern bomb email -ignore it does not apply to you."
I recommend you do them same -phone them. A lot of AI stuff gets generated without oversight.

I logged in and did the verification .

But, I can't take a photo of me using my phone . It says that they can't access my phone's camera .

How to do it?

Depending on how old the phone is -- You would need to take a Selfie or get someone to take your phone, then select the picture and upload that picture .

Personally hate using phones for that type of thing, I always plug in the phone to a computer and copy the pictures then upload from that .

Yep. Same.
My brother loves doing it all from ph and tablet.
He prints from it, got the HP app, printer on wifi.

And after 6 months it did an update...and rejected his compatible cartridges. Class actions overseas over that...but HP persist.

Told him, you have it online, you have no control and you're stuck with it.

1488097 2022-09-14 00:18:00 yea - you have to make sure to turn off the updates as soon as you get it (if you intend using compatible inks)

HP and Epson are really bad at doing that - probably others too

Turn off firmware updates:

www.youtube.com

and to downgrade the firmware again (like your brotherinlaw needs to)
