| 8240 | 2001-01-31 09:51:00 | I am running Win 98SE and trying to run things like Nortons Disk Doctor, Scandisk etc and keep getting the message that it is restarting due to disk writing. I have used ctrl-alt-del to close all programmes running (except systray and explorer) and stopped the screensaver but still no joy. I can run scandisk from DOS but cannot obviously run any Nortons apps. Thanks in advance for any ideas Tony |
