| 8327 | 2001-02-04 09:52:00 | It was a hot day here today so my computer was running fairly hot. But when I checked the temperature in BIOS it was running at 55 degrees celcius (131 F). No programs that run in windows report such a high temperature, I have tried Motherboard Monitor and at the moment I am using Sisoft Sandra (latest version)and it reports that the CPU is running at 33 degrees celcius (91 F) It also says that compensation has been added. BIOS reports the current temperature at around 45 C (113 F). Is it possible that BIOS is somehow giving me incorrect readings? Yes, the fan is connected properly and no it's not overclocked. It's a P!!! 750E PS: I have my case open and a personnal fan blowing in there to keep it cool and it's 10pm!! |
