| 8400 | 2001-02-06 18:38:00 | Recently my a-open cdrw9624 writer has stopped writing after 90 mb or so. Had CD writer lens cleaned, hard drive has been defragged etc still no improvement. Power supply fan was cutting out so had it replaced to no avail. Writer worked fine for 15 months before this. Worth replacing whole power supply or cd writer? System is PIII 500, 128 mb ram,3Gb free on hard drive. | Guest (0) | ||

| 8403 | 2001-02-07 13:35:00 | Hi, How long have you had Adaptec and Nero on you system together. The two programs can cause all sorts of problems on the same system. Are they music or data cds you are writing? If they are music check your ASPI files, a recently installed program could have overwritten them with older ones. But I reccomend you dump either Nero or Adaptec Cheers Billy C |
