| 8355 | 2001-02-05 07:34:00 | HI all In Excel 97 how do I format cells for hours and minutes, ie 2:15 and be able to multiply this by another cell formatted for a $ value and show thye result in a 3rd cell as the resulting correct amount. Example Cell 1, 2hrs & 15mins, x Cell 2 @ $40.00 per hour, = Cell 3 $90.00 At the moment I have to convert the minutes to decimals to get this to work ie, 15 mins =0.25 HELP!!! |
