| 8370 | 2001-02-05 23:43:00 | I have a newish system with the new Award boot up system when you first turn on your PC (kinda more freindly). One of the bios routines is to check all the drives you have on your system. i have recently added an Acer 8x4x32 CD Writer, and now the Checking Drive's routine is VERY slow and will take about 1 minute to check drives. it used to take about 10 secs.
