| 8534 | 2001-02-09 11:13:00 | I'm using the Red Hat Linux 7.0 system. I have already type in every detail of ZFree network in the ZFree datasheet (phone no, IP addresses, PPP network, PAP authentication, my username and my password) when I set up the dialup wizard. However, I still can't have access to the internet despite the modem appears to have a successful connection! (the same LEDs grow as when I connect to the internet successfully when I use win98). Can anyone tell me how I can set up the Red Hat Linux so that I can connect it to ZFree successfully? Regards. |

You will need to find out ZFree's DNS server address and enter it. You're probably connecting with RP3, which is Redhat's proprietry PPP dialler. I am familiar with gnome-ppp, which definitely has a space for you to enter your DNS server name. |
